Welcome to DSTC solar training center |
 DSTC is an innovative contributor to the wider use of Solar Energy in West Africa - Ghana in particular. DSTC has helped to expand the solar market in Ghana and in other Ecowas countries by providing Technical Training on the Design & Maintenance of Stand Alone Solar Power Systems, as well as technical training on Solar Water Pumps systems.
The company began its operations in Ghana in 2005 as an integrated part of Deng Ltd., which has a solar history of 25 years, but in 2009 it was decided to give the training center its own identity and therefore DSTC Limited was registered. In the period from 2005 until 2012 more than 750 participants from 3 countries have attended one or more of the 7 different training courses being offered.
DSTC has played an important role in Capacity Building in the rural districts of Ghana with both technical and business training courses for rural service providers( dealers ). Consultancy services are also offered in connection with solar projects.
The training is carried out not only at the DSTC training center in Accra, but also in hired venues in the off grid districts in the regions.
DSTC has undertaken project installation and training for many different types of solar projects including Solar Home Systems; Solar Vaccine refrigerators; solar water pumps; cell phone charging. Clients include schools, clinics, communities and private businesses.
In recent times DSTC has developed cooperation with some of the Polytechnics in the northern regions in order to provide the training directly to technical lecturers and graduate students for the benefit of the rural populations.
The company is a founding member of the Association of Ghana Solar Industries (AGSI).- DSTC has received International Accreditation by ISPQ. |
